MotoGP : Pedrosa domine en Malaisie

La pluie perturbe la deuxième séance d'essais libres sur le circuit de Sepang

Espargaro et Lorenzo complètent le top 3, Di Meglio est 22ème

Les pilotes de MotoGP n'auront pas échappé à la pluie en cette première journée du Grand Prix de Malaisie. La matinée avant cependant commencée sous un ciel bleu qui avait permis à Dani Pedrosa d'établir le temps de référence du circuit de Sepang en 2'01.379 juste devant ses compatriotes Aleix Espargaro et Jorge Lorenzo.

La pluie s'est ensuite invitée juste avant la deuxième séance et c'est sur une piste trempée que s'est tenue la session de l'après-midi, dominée par Lorenzo. Compte tenu des conditions climatiques, aucun pilote n'est parvenu à améliorer son chrono de la matinée. Au cumul des séances, les trois Espagnols en tête ne sont séparés que par 37 millièmes.

Marc Marquez, Stefan Bradl et Valentino Rossi sont les derniers pilotes à moins d'une demie-seconde tandis qu'Andrea Dovizioso, Cal Crutchlow, Yonny Hernandez et Pol Espargaro complètent le top 10 et sont provisoirement qualifiés pour la Q2. Côté Français, Mike di Meglio signe le 22ème temps du jour à plus de 3,6 secondes de Pedrosa.
